Shai Gerson

Shai Gerson is Managing Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Chardan where he works with public and private emerging growth companies on innovative capital raising solutions.  

Shai joined Chardan in 2008 and has worked on hundreds of complex transactions including private raises, PIPEs, Private Placements, Registered Directs, IPOs, Reverse Mergers, SPACs, Convertible Debt and Equity, and more.

Prior to joining Chardan in 2008, Mr. Gerson began his investment career at Corsair Capital in 2001, serving as a Senior Analyst until 2006, when he left to start Maccabee Capital as a Portfolio Manager.

Mr. Gerson earned a BA in History from Yeshiva University. He sits on the Board of American Friends of Yeshivat Har Etzion, as well the Boards of Yeshivat Noam and Congregation Ohr Levanah.
