Jonas Grossman is Managing Partner and President of Chardan, where he oversees the firm’s banking and capital markets activities.  He has broad transactional experience having led or managed more than 650 transactions across various products and sectors since joining Chardan in 2003. Under Mr. Grossman’s leadership, Chardan has developed leading franchises in the biotechnology and technology sectors, and is one of the most notable underwriters, advisors, and sponsors of SPACs, having been in involved in approximately 125 SPAC IPO transactions raising over $15 billion, serving as an advisor to 46 SPAC transactions totaling over $43.3 billion in transaction value, and having sponsored/co-sponsored 15 SPAC transactions.

Mr. Grossman is an experienced SPAC entrepreneur, acting as founder, executive and/or a member of the board of seven special purpose acquisition companies, three of which he also led as Chief Executive Officer and President. He also served on the board of Renovacor until its acquisition by Rocket Pharmaceuticals in November 2022. Mr. Grossman joined Chardan from Ramius Capital Group, LLC, a global multi-strategy hedge fund where he served as Vice President and Head Trader from 2001 through 2003.

Mr. Grossman holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He has served on the board of directors for UNICEF since December 2016.
