Jim McIlree, CFA

Jim McIlree re-joined Chardan in February 2025 as Senior Research Analyst responsible for coverage of the tech sector focusing on crypto, AI and electric vehicles.

Mr. McIlree has been a sell-side research analyst for 20+ years and over the course of his career his coverage universe has spanned industries including communications equipment, software and services, industrial and consumer technology, defense electronics and services, satellite communications, energy technology, EV's, crypto, and law enforcement.

Previously, McIlree was with Dawson James, Bradley Woods, Chardan (from 2013-2020) and Unterberg Towbin covering emerging growth technology opportunities across multiple industries.

Mr. McIlree holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago, an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado and is a CFA charter-holder.
