Job Responsibilities:
Our Vice Presidents play an integral role in evolving and enhancing our client relationships and are active participants throughout the life of a transaction and beyond. Our Vice Presidents benefit tremendously from the experience and partnership they have with our Partners and Managing Directors. This is an opportunity to be a client coverage banker and deal originator.
- Lead deal teams as the senior point of contact alongside senior members of the firm
- Drive origination, evaluation, and deal execution on both capital markets financings and M&A
- Work closely with senior and junior bankers on all aspects of transactions and business development work
- Oversee the drafting of internal and client-facing documents including management presentations, investor presentations, fairness opinions, and pitchbooks
- Prepare and contribute to delivery of client presentations
- Manage interactions with clients, lawyers, and other deal term members
- Actively manage and develop junior staff
Job Qualifications:
- 6+ years of investment banking or capital markets related experience
- Bachelor's Degree or MBA from a well-respected university and a strong academic track record
- Current or prior investment banking, private equity, in-house M&A or valuation advisory experience is recommended
- Motivated, entrepreneurial, smart
- Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team player interfacing with top company executives and senior management
- Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on modeling and valuation analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective process management abilities
