About the Role:
Chardan is seeking a Research Analyst to join its HCIT/Digital Health equity research offering. The primary focus of this role will be the publication of equity research in an area of disruptive HCIT/DH with promising characteristics. This includes building and maintaining financial (income statement, CF statement, balance sheet) and valuation models; conducting company-specific and industry-wide research in areas of interest for Chardan; generating actionable and at times counter-consensus research ideas for investors; and acting as a Chardan representative at conferences, firm networking, and corporate access events. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, self-disciplined, and a natural high achiever.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of sell side Healthcare Technology/Digital Health equity research experience
- Outstanding academic performance
- Outstanding verbal/written communicator; highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills, particularly for conducting due diligence on medical controversies
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Completed and current regulatory licenses (e.g. Series 7, SIE, 63, 86, 87)
